The year ended with the #ANC making it a policy to expropriate land without compensation and then the constitutional court's shock announcement to remove #Afrikaans as a medium of instruction at Kovsies. The Afrikaner community feels betrayed because this goes directly against what was promised during the negotiated settlement and further strengthens the #SlowWar narrative. The critical positives of 2017 around #FarmMurders #PlaasMoorde awareness are -    more and more celebrities, local and international, are voicing their objection -    the topic attracting International attention from many mainstream media outlets -    Big Twitter accounts reporting on it -    Although not yet debated, it reached the European Parliament. ...
